Maintainance

To protect his invesment, the owner wanted to catch up on some of the maintenance that had been recently neglected. This included obvious things like removing extensive marine growth from the bottom, stripping off the old bottom paint, sealing the seams and applying new anti-foulant. Less obvious, but critical to this owner was new topside paint. The paint was solid but showing it's age and if left as is, would start failing in the next year or two. It was decided to address this proactively. The seams were all ripped out and filled with an epoxy resin. The topsides were then sanded, primed and top coated with a 2-part liquid polyurethane paint.
